Peeple is an up-and-coming social media app where people can recommend and be recommended by each other in personal professional and dating spheres of life. In this Peeple does more at once than more specialized social media apps but makes up for it by providing simple and easily digestible information from its users about its users. It's meant to get a better at a glance look at a person's reputation and to let you contribute to others' profiles.
Keeping It Clean
By its very nature Peeple obviously opens the door for a little bit of tampering. Fortunately the damage one user can do is relatively limited as such abuses are against Peeple's policies but as of this writing there is still some risk involved in using the app. That said if you find that it's not to your liking you can stop using it. You can provide information with your recommendations or simply recommend someone and you can share these recommendations over email text or other social media. Perhaps most pertinently you can add people from Facebook and message other users of the app two very powerful features some other apps leave out.
An Honest Try
Though not everyone will find use for Peeple it's flexible enough that many will. Particularly if you can see use for all three 'types' of recommendation you should consider the app or at least watch it as it grows in use!
